We’re not new to the eccentric thus sopisticated Miuccia Prada’s style proposals at every season; but every time she succedes to sorprend us with something absolutely original, all the same. For the Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection, the designer has presented many distinguish details, such as big-printed piton boots in fluo colours, large A-shape cape with large sleeves coloured with the same print in acid green, and fine swishing mini-dresses covered in yellow-light orange maxi sprangles, not mentioning the unicolor or piton caps that remember the I world war pilots. But Miuccia’s innovations don’t limit theirselves into clothes: they’re always extended to make-up and hair style too, and so for this season. Maybe to balance the garish outfits, the make up is nude and simple, sophisticated, illuminated by a clear skind with no imperfections, and the hair, the real changing in beauty style, are smooth, plain on the top of the head, gathered up in lady-like chignon, and, the most important thing, are left “free” in little wisps next to the temples, like long and silky baby-hair.
That’s quite a changement since the mid-wild and fluffy hair the other designers have let us get used to, since this new hair style is really “flat” and visually stamps the head shape out. But it’s just a thought. What metters is that, both in the catwalk and in the campaing, Prada is firmly pushing this really-young lady-like hair style, that emphasizes the strangeness of is new collection.
And you? What do you think about new Prada hair style?
